Swing Rueda and Swing Amoeba Video Set
Have you tried the Swing Rueda? Can't really remember all the steps? Want to be more precise so you can teach your own community? Based on the Salsa Rueda (1950s Cuban dance) Swing Rueda is the latest swing dance craze moving across the country. Danced in a circle, dancers change partners with the leads and follows moving in opposite directions. There is a caller who calls the moves. It is made from basic lindy moves, so most levels of lindy hoppers can catch on quickly.
We have two volumes of the Swing Rueda tapes, Basics (Volume 1) and The Amoeba (Volume 2). The tapes are 25 each or you can save lots when you buy both (see below). Get these tapes made by the people who invented the Swing Rueda - Elaine Hewlett and Jeff Miller - to learn to teach your own community or to be able to join right in at the next dance. Try the Swing Amoeba, Volume 2 of the Swing Rueda tapes. Or you can save lots when you buy both. The Amoeba is the formation in Swing Rueda, in which everyone holds hands while facing the center of the circle. This video teaches you how to get into Amoeba, Chalupa, Chalupa Dame, Treble Clef, Right Foot Stomp, Turn Her In, Turn Him In and Tranke. ~35 minutes. Packaged in a white cardboard sleeve. NTSC, VHS.
