Doug Silton Swing Dance Series
Doug Silton began swing dancing in 1992 and for the past seven years, he has been teaching, competing, and performing internationally. Doug is a two-time American Lindy Hop Champion (2001 Strictly Division and 2002 Classic Division) and has placed in numerous NASDE West Coast Swing and CSA Carolina Shag competitions. Doug recently competed at the 2002 US Open Swing Dance Championships where he was a finalist in Strictly Lindy, Strictly West Coast Swing, and Carolina Shag.
Doug teaches group and private lessons weekly in Los Angeles, and currently has 3 instructional videos for sale. For his Los Angeles schedule or his national travel/tour schedule, please see the Calendar and to purchase videos, see the Store.
Doug teaches a free Connection & Musicality class weekly at LindyGroove, and is the co-founder of LindyGroove, currently the nation's largest weekly Lindy Hop dances, based in Pasadena, CA. With a weekly turnout of 250 dancers, LindyGroove attracts dancers from as far away as Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Las Vegas. He has many television credits to his name.
